About Scenic Land School

Scenic Land School is a proven environment with innovative teaching methods and individualized learning that supports students with learning differences. Our unique approach to education offers students a chance to learn and develop lifetime skills based on their abilities, to grow with high expectations, and to know their future can be bright and productive.

We know that students with learning differences can learn in the right environment. The Scenic Land School staff works together with each student and his or her parents to create an effective educational plan that is highly individualized for each student.

Classes have an average ratio of 8 students to one teacher. The School's curriculum is centered around the Tennessee Curriculum and the Core Knowledge Framework designed to provide an academically-centered and appropriate approach to each student's needs, and is approved by the State of Tennessee.

Many of the School's alumni have gone on to become college graduates and pursue professional careers.
