"Getting Over It" is a book by students in the 7th and 8th grade at Scenic Land School. Collaborating to provide a perspective from the kids point of view, this book gives the reader insight into what it is like to have a learning difference.

These insightful words of one student provide inspiration and promote understanding: "When I have trouble putting my ideas in writing, it helps if I draw a picture first, I find a spot where I can think,and then I put my pictures into words."

For parents and students"Getting Over It" provides a glimpse into what it is like as a student and a child when you are dealing with a learning difference.
